The instructional model applied in the design of these nuggets is derived from the 5 E’s of learning. This model borrows from the works of Gagne and the Constructivists. It was originally designed by the Biological Science Curriculum Study (BSCS), and was later adopted by many American schools and content development institutions.

Making Learning Fun

Edify content incorporates the following elements that make learning a fun and meaningful experience:

  • Animations: These are used to effectively demonstrate concepts, processes, procedures etc.
  • Assessments: Quizzes are spread offered throughout the content to reinforce learning.
  • Engaging 3D Graphics: These are used to illustrate concepts. For example, the concepts of volume and fractions can be brought to life through 3D visuals.
  • High Quality 2D Graphics: Images and graphic illustrations are used to explain concepts for a variety of subjects.
